A deprecated API simply means that that you are no longer recommended to use, due to changes in the API with additional functionality. If you using the old APIs you need not replace them but we recommend the usage of the new APIs for new implementation You can continue to use the deprecated APIs- but for any new implementation we would recommend to use the latest APIs.
