LNK-9479 - Access Monitor error when getting history photo There was an issue with the Links Access Monitor running on a machine without LinksCore installed (no Links registry settings present). An error occurred when attempting to view a photo from the History record. The picture is not displayed and forces the user to exit and restart Monitor. The issue has been resolved to ensure users can view a photo from the History record in the Links Access Monitor without any errors. LNK-9478 - Access Client Service - service startup/recovery settings are not being set during install/upgrade The reliability of the Links Access Client Service has been improved, by setting the Startup and Recovery options in the service properties. The Links installers for a new install or upgrades via the individual service executable will set the properties to: 👉 Startup Type = ‘Automatic (Delayed Start)’ 👉 Recovery = ‘Restart the Service’ for First, Second and Subsequent failures, Reset fail count after = ‘1' days, Restart service after = '2’ minutes, Enable actions for stops with errors = “Enabled” Image AddedLNK-9470 - Access Client Service - Topmost Access Controller is always selected for new install or install/upgrade over the top The current issue is when completing an Access Client Service install over the top or an upgrade of the top, the topmost Access Controller checkbox is always checked in the Links Access Client Service Configuration screen: Image AddedThe resolution is to select previously selected Access Controllers on upgrade or install over the top. On a brand new install, no Access Controller will be selected. LNK-9464 - Access Client Service - Connection config details are cleared /reset to default during upgrade When upgrading the Links Access Client Service using the executable, the connection configuration details were being overwritten to default, requiring users to re-enter the connection configuration details. This issue has been resolved to ensure the connection configuration details do not get overwritten on the upgrade. LNK-9463 - Access Client Tools - Connection config details are cleared /reset to default during upgrade When upgrading the Links Access Client Tools using the executable, the connection configuration details were being overwritten to default, requiring users to re-enter the connection configuration details. This issue has been resolved to ensure the connection configuration details do not get overwritten on the upgrade. LNK-9462 - Access Service Config - Ignores existing stored DB connection details when upgrading on machine with no LinksCore installed When upgrading the Links Access Service using the executable on a computer without LinksCore installed, the connection configuration details were being ignored, requiring users to re-enter the connection configuration details. This issue has been resolved to ensure the connection configuration details are correctly called upon, so users do not need to re-enter these details on the upgrade. |
