Paid to Facility

Paid to facility payments are the payments made by Customers directly at the facility. In this case, the facility uses our Web Services to inform Debitsuccess that a payment has been made, Debitsuccess then adjusts the customer’s account balance.

Recurring Payment

Debitsuccess debits a customer's account on behalf of a facility, based on a recurring (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly) payment schedule. Payments will continue to be processed based on the schedule until the schedule ends, the account is closed or we have collected the amount owing for the contract (for a fixed term account).

Realtime Payment

A facility may request Debitsuccess to process a real-time payment for a customer on their behalf at any time. The payment will be attempted immediately and will return a response that says whether it was successful or not. A real-time payment initiated by the facility will be processed against the customer’s credit card, but Debitsuccess can also accept real-time bank payments for overdue amounts.

A real-time payment can be allocated to the customer's balance or it can be loaded along with a separate charge so that it does not affect the accounts balance.

Casual Payment

A casual payment is a real-time payment but where the payment is linked to the facility and not associated with a customer account.
